My Name is Leanne Parker-Osbon, I am 30 years old, I have been making Jewellery for the past Twelve years.
Making jewellery started as a hobby but as I got more & more into it I decided I wanted to make it into my career,
I attended four years of silver smithing classes to teach me further more advanced techniques and
then in October 2005 I left my job working in a jeweller's and set up Jewellery By Leafy.
Over the past six years my business has grown, from strength to strength, I now supply various different venues with my
designs, these range from beauty salons and spas , shops and art galleries.
I take on a lot of very different commissioned design work as well.
A question I often get asked is why I have called myself Jewellery By Leafy .
When I was coming up with a name for my company I wanted it to be something unique like my designs,
so I decided that rather than use my Name I would use my childhood nickname Leafy.
